The Village

stillsostrangeSo far M. Night Shyamalan 3 for 4 with me. I adore the 6th Sense. I really liked Unbreakable. I would have liked Signs, had he ended it properly and not tacked on an extra fifteen minutes of gratuitous hand-holding and dumbing-down.
I liked the Village. I saw it all coming. Mind you, even guessing it all, I still jumped throughout the whole thing.
I won't go into it, as it is a movie that should not be spoilered. I will say that I like Bryce Dallas Howard quite a bit, and Joaquin Phoenix was very snugglable. To me it had overtones of Le Pacte des Loups--I'm curious to see if anyone else thinks that.
But I found the most wonderful thing in the trailers.
