Today I have: organized my CDs, taken my car to the shop (the weird noise was a wheel bearing), ogled Michael Fassbender, and written 2002 words. Not in that order.

I've excised at least three flabby scenes from the last few chapters, and another is undergoing intense scrutiny. Hopefully this will help with the screwy pacing.
Tomorrow I get to take a pressure washer to the floor of my garage. Cleaning is much more fun when dangerous machines are involved.
