Holy sparkling tiaras, Batman!

I just found out that The Bone Palace made the Tiptree honor list. I am so freaking happy right now--the Tiptree is the award that means the most to me, and to make it to the shortlist is fan-fucking-tastic. I am once again in excellent company, with nojojojo, la_marquise_de_, and others.

I hope to take another stab at it one day, with the Savedra & the Crimefighting Demimonde Book. Which could really use a working title about now.

It isn't just one of your holiday games

And lo, through the magic of the internet, a working title has appeared before me. For the time being, the Crimefighting Demimonde Bone Palace spinoff will be known as The Poison Court. Initial brain-activity suggests it will involve Savedra and a scandalous playwright trying to solve a murder in the Octagon Court, with help from Wacky Uncle Varis, and maybe a Nongol emissary.

And speaking of titles, after my last post about TNC #4, I'm leaning toward The Winter Road, though not totally wedded to it. The bones of the plot involve Isyllt being very reluctantly roped into the ongoing civil unrest in Vallorn, the home she hasn't seen in over twenty years. It will not lack for snow, mountains, ravens, or blood. And maybe she'll finally get to raise that army of the dead I've been trying to find a place for forever.
