I want to reconcile the violence in your heart

The 5k that I took out of Kingdoms last week? I just put most of it back in. Yeah. I'm not entirely happy with this solution, but I set this damn thing up so the most I can do is make it work the best I can. This also means I now don't have to beg you not to read the teaser scenes in the back of The Bone Palace. You shouldn't read them anyway, because it's the roughest of drafts and I've already revised the hell out of it, but at least now it's not a totally different beginning.
