Urgh, 9 AM panel. That was not my finest hour. Luckily I was saved by meeting
lanerobins and
j_cheney and Barbara whose LJ I wot not of, who are smart and fun and took me to lunch with them. Then another panel, where I was marginally more awake and functional. Then a panel that they made me moderate, which was petrifying, but several people told me I didn't botch it up completely, so that was nice. Then hastily sucking down drinks* and food before the Speed Dating the Authors session, which was daunting but actually rather fun. I think I got to recite my elevator pitch 20 times in 45 minutes. Then another round of drinks, a quick tour of parties, and now I have returned to the room to play Plants vs. Zombies.
The End.
Tomorrow, the end of the art show and then the 8-hour drive back home.
*These drinks supposedly had alcohol in them, but you couldn't prove it to me. Possibly I'm spoiled by Austin bars and Dogfish Head.
