Will I dream?

I just woke up from a dream in which I was back in grad school, but I didn't have a textbook for my European history class (the textbook, when I found a copy in the library, was full of Russian, but we were discussing the Baader Meinhof Complex in class) and had just missed a quiz. I was also trying to put together PDFs for two different people, but I didn't have Acrobat. And then I was trying to refurbish a run-down shack in the Ozarks for someone in an environment suit (I think it was greygirlbeast, but the hardware store was closed and I didn't have any duct tape. There was also an odd sort of easter egg hunt and hiding candy in the woods.

Really, brain? I thought we were done with the pointless stress dreams.

Now I'm sluggish and dream-sticky and I need to get up and start work on Kingdoms.

Soundtrack redux

You guys gave excellent suggestions for the Kingdoms playlist last time, so I'm posting the new and improved version.

But that's only 30 songs, which isn't long enough to survive nausea-repeat. Bone Palace has the longest playlist, with 78 songs and six and a half hours of playing time. Since I rarely work for six and a half hours at one stretch, that's pretty good. I'm not sick of most of it yet.

Any other suggestions? I still covet Ofra Haza's Kashmir, but can't find it anyplace but YouTube.

Eventually I'll put "Destroy Everything You Touch" in there, since that's Isyllt's song, but right now I'm thoroughly sick of it.

I added two scenes to chapter one, and then retrofitted chapter two to take them into account. Now I'm into chapter three, and need to figure out what happens next.

After that I revised more of Bone Palace, slaughtering stray commas and weasel words. And now I'm off to eat red meat in celebration of The Wolfman. And find out if werewolf movies still scare the shit out of me now that I'm 30.
