Soft-spoken changes nothing
Dec. 3rd, 2009 11:58 pmSeven chapter reread so far, but only one thing crossed off my Need To Add list. All the evil is waiting for me at the end.
Skinny Puppy unsurprisingly put on a good show last night, despite the cold and cramped venue. The crowd, however, left something to be desired. In my fifteen years of concert-going experience, I have been shoved, elbowed, stepped on, fallen on, drenched in beer, and kicked in the face. I had never before had my ass grabbed, and that happened twice last night. I regret that it didn't happen a third time, because then I could have located the asshole* and delicately explained the situation with my stompy boots.
It's supposed to snow tomorrow. I remain unconvinced.
*The press of the crowd was so bad that it took me a long time to realize that someone was copping a feel in the first place, as opposed to just being shoved into me like a sardine. Once I discerned this, the hand in question got a healthy dose of my fingernails, but I couldn't tell who it was attached to and didn't want to elbow an innocent bystander in the face. Alas.
