I need volunteers to have fictional landmarks named after them. Anyone want to be an explorer or monarch or lost civilization?

And I feel like everything I sow is being swept away

The longer I look at my map, the more I realize just how lousy my sense of scale is. Perhaps nonexistent would be a better word. And just when you tell yourself "oh, no one cares about stuff like that anyway", you will find someone on the internet who does. Vocally.

Mysteries of publishing revealed!

This might only have been mysterious to me, but I'm still glad to learn the answer. Apparently, all I have to do is send a crappy version of my map to my editor, and they will find some sort of professional-type person to make it all pretty. Which means I don't have to spend hours slaving over fonts in Photoshop. This is almost as magical as getting a pony for Christmas.
