Do you like the way the water tastes, like gunfire?

There! After much toil and cursing, TDC has a new prologue. Now I just need to give it one last readthrough for word rep, commas, and characters changing heights, then send it to omega readers to see if I over- or under-exposited anything, and then it goes back to my editor. And I pray I will not see it again till the CEM shows up.

Now I just have to pry myself out from under this dog in time to climbing tonight.

Girl vs. wall

Tonight was a pretty good night. I warmed up on an unrated stemmy thing that I love (the owner told me once it was a 5.8, but I think it's a 5.7), then sent a 5.8+ that I'd done before, then pwned the 5.10 that I've had to cheat on for the past two weeks. I also failed to start a 5.9 and spectacularly fell off of a 5.8 several times. :P (Both of them are negative pitched, and that is my fucking cryptonite.) Then, wrathful after the 5.8, I sent a 5.7 to make myself feel better.

I also discovered that "Wolves (Song of the Shepherd's Dog)" sound a dozen times better on my car stereo than it does on the laptop. And I already loved it, so that's an extra dozen times of awesome.

And now I have beer and guacamole salsa.
