Dreams
Grow, little meter, grow!
Another three scenes rearranged and vastly improved today. Next up, a nightgaunt attack that needs much better choreography, and then the massive gutting and redecorating of Carcosa. In this draft, Liz will face three real challenges, instead of a lame one and some handwaving. Now I need to figure out what the second one will be, and its price.
Winter! Winter is here! This afternoon it was too warm for a sweater when I walked the dog. Now it's sleeting and slushing and wintry-mixing, and my toes are cold in shoes and fuzzy socks. I brought in the habaneros and basils, and tomorrow I'm going to Home Despot to replace the weather stripping that's no longer under our front door, and to get a damn latch to keep the garage door from blowing open with every gust of wind.
Gretchen, meanwhile, has given up on the couch and is now curled up in our bed.
