Stuff and things and things and stuff

Gretchen is 17 pounds of dog. Except when I'm trying to put drops in her ears--then she's a 17-pound tornado made of nails and a bear trap.

Tomorrow's to-do list:

• Take tornado dog to daycare


• Rip out remaining carpet in the living room


• Rip up approx 45 feet of tack strips


• Sweep, vacuum, and scrub off residual glue and insulation


• Patch all the holes caused by ripping nails out of the concrete


• Shove furniture out of living room (this includes--*sob*--taking all the books off the bookcase so I can move it)


• Obtain from Lowe's another gallon of primer and a roller


• Prime floor


• Write at least 500 words of "Flood"
