Weekend update

Grindhouse = LOFF! (Well, okay, Planet Terror = LOFF, Death Proof = a whole lot of hot chicks, and that's okay too.) And the whole thing would have been worth price of admission just for the Machete trailer.

Freddy Rodriguez = doubleplus-hot! (And there is nothing wrong with Naveen Andrews, either.)

In non-movielust news, we're now under contract on the second house we offered for (the CUTEST HOUSE EVER sadly fell through), and barring the inspection turning up any corpses in the attic or mold, we may have a house before the end of May. Keep your appendages crossed. (The house is in Pflugerville, just for jmeadows.)

Don't forget, Monday is International Pixel-stained Technopeasant Day! I'm not sure which story I'll put on my website, since most of my stuff is online anyway. "Snake Charmer", I guess. Or maybe the first three chapters of The Drowning City. TDC is probably at least two rewrites away from professional quality, though. :P

And apparently Wiscon has spurned the Watery Tarts group reading, so I don't have to finish "Salt" or "Ghostlight" by then after all. But I'd still like to finish something, so I turn to...The Meme.
