I have the loff--so much better than the movie! I realized that Bitten is like a grown-up version of this book, only not nearly as good.

8. The Orphan's Tales: In the Night Garden - yuki_onna

This books is made of awesome, with awesome sauce, and a serving of gorgeous on the side.

9. The Silver Kiss - Annette Curtis Klause

I don't love this as much as B&C, but it's a good book.

10. Magic Bites magic bleeds, it's bringing me to my knees, magic lives, magic dies, it's no surprise - Ilona Andrews

Oh-dub-dub represent! This was a pleasant surprise, if only because I've burned out on that kind of urban fantasy lately. But this is well-written and fun and not stupid. My only issue is contractions--learn them, live them, love them.

I should fly more often--nothing gets me to finish books like 4 hours on a plane.

I will do a New England post soon, complete with pictures of Hamcat, once I get the pics off my camera.
