Sweet Mother of Frog...I went dancing last night, and actually winded myself. And now my hip aches. Could the meat puppet not manage to stay intact till 30, at least?

And why am I still at the front desk at 10 past noon? Send help, and more coffee.

Nothing resembling a progress report

Chapter 16 is stalled like a stalled thing. Apparently they need to talk about the plot, or something, but I have no clue what needs to be said. Perhaps they'll tell me tomorrow, when I'll be stuck in the car for eight hours on the puppy underground railroad. Maybe the puppies will know.

Now I want plot puppies.

mrissa was talking recentlyish about changing a book's title and ending up with a better-behaved book. This sounds like a great idea. Not to mention it'll let me requery all the agents I queried before. (This could theoretically leave one with a worse-behaved book, I suppose, but in this case I don't believe that's possible.)

So, a preliminary retitling poll, because polls are more fun that a bag of wet rats. I think.
