Not a progress report
Feb. 8th, 2007 09:31 pmNo proper words today, but I did name all the months in the Selafain (Pseudogreek) calendar, and rename the Assari (Fauxgyptian) ones. Next up, days of the week!
I was totally excited, because I have tSoM tabs, and was going to go home and learn "Nine While Nine" until my fingers bled. Then my newest blister started throbbing, and I realized the bleeding would happen much faster than the learning. (Typing is not so fun at the moment.) But the other day I actually played a few riffs of "Like Cockatoos" in time with the real song. I am on my way to being a component of a bad goth cover band. Clearly I have a career with Cleopatra in my future.
The book would progress so much faster if Miss Zhirin would crawl out of whatever hole she's hiding in and report for her scenes. I dunno why she's sulking--she's not the one who got maimed.
