Snow day

We were promised an ice storm of Bruckheimer proportions. Instead we got a little freezing rain and light snow, but they closed the library today anyway.

2100 words today so far, and the revision of "Blue Valentine" is finished. I don't actually know that it's any better than the last draft, but it's 400 words longer. :P Perhaps I'll lob it at some very slow market and ignore it for a while.

Now I suppose I should eat something and try to write the B@*K, on which I am woefully behind.

I am still crazy behind, but at least that hideous unspeakable never-ending chapter is over now. Soon there will be death-fog and zombies.

And now I need to give "Catch" one more pass and send it out in the world. It's one of those stories that really makes me wish I could bypass the reader's 50% and beam my mindrays directly into people's brains. :P Ah well, time to let it confuse editors now.
