From a character's reaction in this scene, I realize that I need to explore a certain facet of the worldbuilding in greater depth.

I think I've got Alex sorted, at least for the moment. His new name is Prior, if he doesn't fuss about this tomorrow. He's still in shock, poor dear, having two of his names changed and some serial numbers filed off, but I think he'll pull through. Just now he admitted a fondness for The Smiths that he never mentioned before. (I knew he wasn't totally straight.) Now I just need to figure out "Night Mirror".

I very nearly had to write a bitchy follow-up to the PSA I posted a few weeks ago , but managed to refrain. Seriously, folks. I know I'm a prickly neurotic bitch, but Baby's First Writing Advice really rubs me the wrong way.
