stillsostrange: (Von says read)
Words were viciously sabotaged tonight, by a certain link that [livejournal.com profile] wicked_wish posted. It started as an innocent desire to see the "This Corrosion" video (Von's rain-dance bokken! Patricia's impenetrable hair!), and spiralled out of control.

Oh, the '80s. When hair was big and boys were skinny. I miss it so--except for the hair, and the shoulder pads, and the pants...

"The Garden, The Moon, The Wall"
Words tonight: 593
Words total: 2802 (I'm redoing the beginning--it's good that it's shrinking)
Reason for stopping: see above
Exercise: dancing to A-Ha, weights
Tyop: ...because someone thinks she's a junked.
Darling: Caleb always was a smart-ass--she shouldn't expect that to change because he's dead.

We're looking for this man...to make a really big omelette

Also--the video of "All Night Long" makes me all squishy inside. I will supply Peter with all the Turkish opium he wants, if he'll lounge around in that little nightcap for me. RrrrrrrRRRrrr...

Okay, new life plan--become an international drug lord, to lure cute musicians into my Hot Boy Preserve.

h'omigod--baby Al! Baby Al! Strange British Accent Al! Alas, I suspect I will not be hearing Revenge at the show next month.
stillsostrange: (In case of Cthulhu...)
The Headhunter video has driven me to make eggs. Mmm, eggs.

Also, that song I like that I've danced to for years in clubs--"Obsession", by Clan of Xymox. I had no clue. And iTunes finally got some Bigod 20! My list of overplayed industrial club hits grows longer and longer.

After eggs and toast, I shall return to Sephie. Garden is on the brink of becoming yet another "I love Ginger Snaps! See?!" story.

I am feeling downright perky. Maybe the brain chemicals are readjusting.

I'll take you down there, I'll take you...

My boy brought home a robot, and promptly began menacing the cats.

Fortunately for Siggy, I discovered the robot's great weakness--drop a dish towel over its head, and it is rendered powerless.

Throw off the shackles of robot oppression!

"The Garden, The Moon, The Wall"
Words today: 1232
Words total: 2724 (The shrinking is good--I'd like to wrap this up within 4k.)
Reason for stopping: ponderation
Sustenance: burrriiiiito! and pear cider
Exercise: 15 laps in the pool
Tyop: n/a
Darling: He wants her. He's afraid of her. He smells like food.
Mean things: The stalking continues; everyone's hitting on Sephie and it's awkward; cramps

I know everything that happens in this story, but the structure still eludes me. Maybe I'll wander over and see what "Blue Valentine" is doing.

What do you think--dangles on either side of the loop?

As I was closing the first crimp bead, my crimp pliers snapped! One tong snapped right off, flew across the room, and nearly killed Steven. At first I thought all was lost, but because I never throw anything away, I had a spare (not as good) pair tucked away. And so the ranch was saved.
