So I was brainstorming for a chapter in Prayers, and I figured out what Holly needs to find out while she's in Vienna, and what it costs her to do so. And then the pieces started falling down, and I realized I have the set-up to a sequel. So after Prayers, there is now a possibility for a spin-off book all about Holly and her wacky adventures with vampires. I'll put La Ghoul Nikita in the queue after the Ereshkigal book

Mean things: Rewrote a bit to get Holly in worse trouble with the police, and then had vampires bail her out. She learned she was betrayed by a friend.

In a first draft, pretty and plot cannot coexist. I have to go back and teach them to live in harmony.
