You were living in another world trying to get a message through

It's Friday morning. Not enough sleep, not enough coffee, too much Bon Jovi stuck in my head. Entertain me!

I'm starting the list of words that I predict will multiply and take over this novel. So far I'm keeping an eye on:

obsidian
bronze
heat/warmth
slime
careless grace
and of course, darkness

I've found the first problem character. She was supposed to be just a crazy second-tier antagonist--now I'm totally smitten and would follow her around and watch her paint her toenails if she wanted me to.

She may need to die in a freak rockslide.

Doesn't the King in Yellow in my icon sort of look like an evil angelic Orko?
