Pre-NaNo progress
Oct. 19th, 2005 10:53 amThere was progress last night, I just passed out before I could log it.
Words yesterday: 2800 retyped. All at once. Argh. Listen to the novel, people. If the novel says it wants to be in a certain tense, don't try to second guess it. You will have to change it all back.
Words total: 2800. That's the prologue and what I think is chapter 1, though another scene might get tacked onto the end yet.
Exercise: 20 min gothercise, crunches
I'm currently in a great mental debate over whether the book really needs omni, or just a cinematic sort of objective. We shall see.
I worked a little on "Blue Valentine" yesterday, mainly rewriting one sentence over and over again. :P It ended up being very nearly what I started out with. *clings to preferred sentence structure*
This book has the slowest opening ever. (For me, not in the greater world of literature.)
