I want a short story! *makes pouty face*

I have one that is aaaaaalmost there, but it's missing some important clicky bit. My brain is sure that Lailah the Crazy Queen of Run-on Sentences and the Queen in the tower dream are part of the same story, but something's not right yet. It might even be my third sappy ocean story.

I also want to write a story about gangster mages, of which I have two sets of characters. (Nathan and the Hounds, and the snake-charmer people) You'd think one of them would put out, at least.

You'd think these characters would want to be written about. They showed up, after all, and introduced themselves. I'm not thaaat mean... Sure, I hit Nathan with a car once, but it's not like there were fire-ants or anything...

You put in your old cranky bitchy cantankerous grown-up cat and the recycler gives you tiny fuzzy baaaaaby kitties for you to love all over again.
