Demon-warp is coming alive

Got up before 8 this morning to take Siggy to the vet, and by some miracle I stayed up. I wrote 1000+ words before work. Maybe I should actually wake up early more often.

I will go back to the words, amid timesheets, as soon as I stop weeping over matociquala's damn book.

Bad mom, redux

So, first I skip their birthday. Then yesterday I locked Fafnir in the bedroom when I went to work. (Sad kitty, sad carpet.) Then today I took the Victory Blizzard (Siggy-bit) to be spayed and shotted. She wouldn't even come out of the pet carrier when we got home, just ignored me and passed out. I am a wicked wicked monkey.

The von Flaum brothers need to go in for their shots soon, too. All the hate will be mine.

Today was a good day

Except for my poor kitty.

Mean things: Sushi + plum wine + adrenaline / necromancy = express tickets to Barfy Land. And she nearly barfed on the cute boy. I loff her with the loff. And then she woke up with a hangover.

My characters are thwarting me again. I thought they could make it at least to chapter 5 without the sexual tension kicking in, but alas no. We'll see how long it takes them to stop pretending to be professional and get making with the love. I may have to keep them exhausted and nauseous for a while.

While Isyllt and Adam are making barfy-eyes at each other, Xinai is supposed to be running around doing real work. Of course, she won't tell me what she's doing at all. I suspect her of being a problem character.
