Excelsior!
Okay, no more moping about Prayers. I'm kicking it out until it figures out exactly what it wants from this relationship. I have short stories to right and revise and a novel to redo sometime this year, and the crying jags were becoming counterproductive.
I am continuing my search for that special novel that will love me, though. I know it's out there somewhere, waiting for me.
Next in line is the novel happening alongside Dreams. They were intended to have a kind of jigsaw overlap, but I may have to kill that. This book has gods*, macguffins, ghosts, a Young Woman torn from her Life and thrust into Magic and Peril (tm) and a metric ton of metaplot. Yeah. These characters are lucky I love them.

*The part of Mithras will be played by Oded Fehr doing his best James Dean.

Also, I am very proud of Spain for their new gay marriage legalization. Look, Ma, not all of humanity needs to be vaporized by the heat rays!
Canada is still where I want to be, though. Bears and caribou and hot hockey players, oh my!

Go forth and read
Check out the new Chizine , which has an excellent story from
buymeaclue and an Orpheus poem that I also like very much.
Read, monkeys, read!
