BPAL update:

Delphi - The smoke of Sacred Incense of Apollo twined through laurel branches, bay, and honey wine.

I can't really pick notes out of this. It's very strong and very bright, and smells of growing things. Not what I'd normally think to wear, but I can't stop sniffing it. It's heady. I didn't test it on my skin, just spilled a drop on my jeans when I opened the imp. :P I'll try it again tomorrow when the other scents have washed off.

Speaking of oracles, I think that's what Moira-the-crazy-girl is turning out to be. If she doesn't end up ghoulchow over the course of this book, maybe I'll let her loose on a Mediterranean island somewhere.

My brain's doing that thing again... It just disgorged a bolus of words for my sad & sappy mermaid story, and promises more to come.

The pesky thing is, the end of this story, like "Ebb", leaves me with a itty baby deep one ready to make her way in the world. My brain insists this is not coincidence, and that the two will grow up and have teenage adventures together. Then it whispers a YA Cthulhu story would be cool.
