What did I do today?
May. 9th, 2005 01:40 amToday I watched three DVDs of Firefly.
Firefly makes me happy.
I think this might be Whedon's best ensemble cast. No one gets on my nerves. While I agree with
matociquala that Mal has more angst than is strictly necessary, it's not focused on enough to really annoy me. And I really like Nathan Fillion. I really like everybody. And I really like space westerns. Really really. I should really stop saying really.
The themesong is a tad earwormy.
For the record, where I fall out on other SF shows:
Farscape -- Yes, please!
B5 -- Yes, there is some rather bad acting, but it doesn't matter when Andreas Katsulas and Peter Jurasik are on the screen together. Or when Walter Koenig is on screen at all. For those three I will put up with a multitude ofreally very obnoxious telepath chicks and Delenn's stupid-ass hair.
Star Trek -- Only DS9 was worth a damn.
Fourth DVD to be watched soon.
Wasn't I working on a book or something...?
