I appear to have put my W2 in a safe place. What was I thinking?

Letting the wookie win

The Boy and I were discussing creative processes last night. We determined that his process(or muse, if you prefer) lives in some Bohemian loft and doesn't have a real job and lazes about all day with wine and cheese. She's the kind of friend who'll call you at odd hours on weeknights wanting to go out and having no idea why you're tired or busy. But when you try to call her on the weekends she never answers her phone or returns calls.

My process, on the other hand, gets up in the morning and walks to her factory job where she works 60+ hours a week to make ends meet and feels guilty every time she takes a sick day. She'd love to go out this weekend, if she can get some housecleaning done first.

Only one of us finishes stories and subs them. Funny that.

Then I accidentally said 'wookie' instead of 'nookie' and now he thinks I'm secret furry. You ask a guy to wear a bearsuit once and they think you're weird...

Mommy, my novel broke!

Argh. I think Prayers isn't ready to go yet. It wants more time to simmer side characters and subplots. Why did it lead me on this way if it wasn't ready? Argh!

I find myself without a novel. I don't like it. I must be writing!

Should I try to build a fae novel for May, or go straight to bashing my head against the keyboard till one of us breaks?
