After a last minute switch, Rain Dogs is on its way to Strange Horizons. Ebb is gussied up and ready to go to Hoboken, once I get some stamps. Violet is still at SciFiction (itwaspassedupkellylikeditomgsquee!).

I'm about to have three stories out.

Perhaps I can keep up this pretense that I know how to write short stories for a little longer.

No words on Prayers yesterday. Peter is sulking and wondering what his motivation is. The snake charmer story is percolating--I have images of the girl dancing with a snake, and the assassin dressed up like Baron Samedi, but no actual plot or theme or anything.

I really need a cd-player in my office.
