Don't watch my sides

I went over "Rain Dogs" again today (and posted revisions on the shop), since it goes out into the world on the 1st. I like this story, but I'm afraid my protag doesn't protag quite enough, and that part of my ending is weak. Anyone willing to look at it for me and able to do so in the next nine days?

Finally the Badger of Self Esteem stepped in to take on the Suck Monkey, so I'll look at the Dreams revisions again while I poke at KoM. Somewhere in the world there has to be someone who will like my main character. :P I just have to find that person and keep them in my closet forever to reassure me.

I found an old discarded story file. It's set in New Orleans, and stars a ghost, a blues signer, and a vampire. Yeah. Tell me about it. The problem is, the 2300 words I have are really good. I loff them. I want to make this story do something.
