Update from Amandaland
Feb. 12th, 2005 12:48 pmYesterday, with notecards, an axe, and a vast reluctance, I began to revise. Alas, the decanter of sherry is missing from this equation.
So far, Chapter 1 is done, with only minimal line edits. Chapter 2 requires substantial revision and axework. And me doing endless tarot spreads for my characters until I get one that fits. My deck is thorougly confused.
On the exercise front, owwie ow ow. I finally figured out how to do squats that don't make my knees sound like a bowl of rice crispies. Apparently there are muscles hiding in my thighs, for now they burn. (Yesterday weights, 20 min dancing, 50 crunches).

My scale alternately tells me that I have lost 5 lbs, 3 lbs, and no lbs. I'm going to guess I've really lost 3 and drink lots of water. I am definitely putting on muscle in my arms, though it's still buried under flab.
