Well, not quite yet.
But it is a travesty that I am at work today. The rest of the Uni is closed. Only the library is open today. Are we ueberflussig with students and those seeking intellectual enlightenment? No, we've got maybe two people in here this morning, and odds are good they're looking at porn.
On the other hand, I'm slobberlingly grateful I don't work retail anymore. The library is peaceful and serene and not a monument to capitalist greed.
I am taking part in National Buy Nothing Day (it's easy when I'm stuck at work). It's not so much moral superiority on my part as that crowds make me want to scream and break out the flame throwers. And the last thing your average retail monkey wants to see today is another living being (or undead one, but I bet they can't tell the difference).
And anyway, I really need to write.
