Ogre is the most beautiful boy in the world. Certainly the most beautiful boy to dance around a stage covered in fake blood. I will try very hard not to think about licking fake blood off his abs. Really, I will.

Skinny Puppy kicked ass. My stompy boots are mosh-resistant, which makes me very happy.

Still trying. Right.

Concerts need to be arranged like group yearbook photos--short people in front, tall people in the back. I am short, yet I still desire to see the stage. And if you're over six foot anyway, don't spike your frickin' hair.

How to fall off a wagon

First, smoke on and off for a few years, but quit cold turkey in 2001 because of a debilitating smoke allergy. Get stuffy and scratchy-eyed at clubs and shows for a year and a half or so, then slowly begin to get over the allergy.

Go to a Skinny Puppy show in 2004 and smell clove smoke somewhere in the crowd. Become overwhelmed with desire. (Okay, that was mostly Ogre's abs, but the clove smelled good.)

Buy a pack of Sampoerna milds the next day as an experiment. Smoke one. Do not get stuffy or scratchy-eyed. Find the smell of smoke lingering on your hands something other than foul and loathsome. (I still find the smell of Steven's Marlboro lights pretty damn nasty.)

Sadly, a box of Sampoerna's is $4.00 now, as opposed to the $3.25 it was when last I bought one. I only ever smoked cloves, because they're too expensive and too kick-your-ass to make a real habit of. A pack a month is about my speed.

And finally, quit blogging your silly vices and get back to those revisions.
