Ghost Auction strikes again

This necklace likes crazy girls. First it gave me Memory, the psychometric waif. Then Andy, the schizophrenic mermaid. Now it's this medium chick and her bottle tree.

Mind you, I don't have an entire story for any of these girls.

Anyone know what's up with this medium and her tree?

Addendum: The medium just told me her name. Jerusalem Thorn Morrow. She's named after the tree. I already like her more than the others, as she's not a teenager.

Ghosts in glass houses

The necklace has struck again. 557 words on Salem's story tonight. I like it so far, but I'm not sure where it's going. So far I have Jerusalem, a ghost in a bottle, and an angry ghost on the loose. Sadly, that's not quite a whole story yet. Adrian may have a cameo in it, since this is another ghosty Ipswich story. Maybe I can finish in time for Halloween.

I edited another 300+ words of Dreams earlier today. Chapter 4 appears to have nearly as much suckage as Chapter 3, if such a thing is possible. The first scene of 4 has no frickin' tension, and my brain tries to stall instead of writing it again. But if I kill it, the chapter will be wee and unbalanced, and the description and character-buildy bits are good. I am at a loss.
