Amphibious adventures
Oct. 4th, 2004 08:32 amBut not the batrachian kind.
I got up at 4 this morning to take Steven to the airport, which involved driving an hour to and fro through the teeth of the mother of thunderstorms. No visibility, hydroplaning, lightning that turned the sky purple--the works.
And then when I got home, I did not do the intelligent thing and get another hour of sleep before going to work. Oh no, I stayed awake to write. I will regret this very soon indeed.
But I added a new scene to chapter 2, and finished the edit of chapter 3. 9300 words edited so far. With a little luck, I can get 20k or so done before NaNo. I need to work up a query that doesn't gag me with its cheese, too.
Dreams of Shreds and Tatters--A tale of sex, drugs, and nightgaunts.
How's that for a tagline?
