Birds don't sing, they crush my skull

I'm glad someone in this book knows what's going on, cause it sure ain't me. The Carcosa chapter that's thwarted me so long is starting to take shape. As I fiddled it with it yesterday, I realized events were running counter to things I'd set up earlier. Egads, thought I, don't make me start over again. But when I thought about, I realized the characters were going in the right direction, and I was the one mucking things up. So I'll run with it, and revise the earlier chapters later.

Continuity? What's that? But I get to set up some critters who are important later. And more byakhee! Way better than flying monkeys.

And on the fuzzy front: Kjittens! They sneeze! It's soooooo cuuuuuuute! My head asplode!

Anyone wanna NaNoWriMo this November?

In theory, I could finish Dreams by the end of October, and then NaNo 50k on the SA book in November before I start heavy revision on Dreams. A brilliant theory, nicht wahr?

Of course, having Dreams done before World Con was a brilliant theory too, and we see how that turned out...
