That sums it up, doesn't it? And I just love the phrase l'esprit de l'escalier. Or, as Barbara Hambly puts it, "a bad case of 'I shoulda said'."

Oh yeah, and Happy Solstice. Today is the day the weather is given free rein to beat the life out of you with a hot, humid stick. At least around here.
